Denver Hyatt Convention Center, Denver, Colorado
The Denver Hotel Authority Board chose Bray Whaler to furnish the 1100 room Denver Hyatt Convention Center Hotel, metro Denver’s first true convention hotel and the largest high rise built in Denver since 1987. Having this opportunity in our own backyard makes us very proud.
In January 2005, we were selected by FaulknerUSA which recognized our international associations with world class firms, extensive high style purchasing experience and meticulous attention to detail. The up front planning for this size and scope of project assured successful purchasing and installation.
With a little over one year to procure the entire hotel, Bray Whaler had the confidence to deliver the highest quality purchasing and installation program on time and on budget.
Bray Whaler’s internal controls and up-to-the-minute, custom reporting capabilities provided an accurate picture of the status of over 1,000 purchase orders and ultimately, peace of mind for our client.
For this Hyatt, purchasing included cutting edge hotel and guestroom technology, requiring Bray Whaler’s involvement of product testing for Hyatt. Each guestroom was supplied with the latest, hospitality HD compatible LCD TVs, innovative guestroom amenities, automated check-in kiosks, and comfortable, ergonomic desk chairs for the business traveler.
We are fortunate to be able to work with several national vendors located in Denver along with smaller Denver companies who met Bray Whaler’s stringent requirements for a job of this size. This allowed us the opportunity to benefit the local community.
