Skamania Lodge creates tree houses

interior-2-tree-houseSkamania Lodge sits amidst 175 acres of Pacific Northwest forest on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge. To help guests fully experience the pristine setting, the resort recently created two secluded, cozy tree houses, elevated 15 – 20 feet in the air overlooking a canopy of Douglas Fir trees and the river. The hotel’s website explains,

Design elements within the Columbia River Gorge tree houses are inspired from the idea of creative childhood, when imaginations were thriving and days were filled with care-free playing outside and in tree houses.”

Nearby are hiking trails, the Waterleaf Spa, Skamania Lodge Golf Course, and all of the resort’s amenities. Even though the setting feels a world apart, the resort is only 45 minutes outside of Portland, Oregon.

As a purchasing agent, we delight in helping to create unique accommodations for guests. We were honored to handle FF&E procurement when the resort was built, and had fun with this latest development. We’re ready to check in.  How about you?interior-tree-house
