Uniquely Cleveland! Bray Whaler provides FF&E procurement services for Hilton Cleveland Downtown

Bray Whaler was honored to provide FF&E procurement services for Cleveland’s newest hotel, catering to conventioneers with sleek FF&E and original art and photography.

Heartfelt thanks to Ellis Katz of PMC, LLC and Cuyahoga County for the opportunity to be involved in this exciting project. The Hilton Cleveland Downtown will open on schedule and under budget 3 years from the day it was approved June 5, 2013.

Designed by VOA Architects with interiors by Anderson Miller, Ltd, the hotel’s 600 guestrooms and 37 suites, are contained within a 32-floor glass tower which offers stunning views of the city and Lake Erie.  Public areas delight with Cleveland-centric details including carpet inlaid with abstract maps of downtown and meeting rooms named after local bridges.

The focal point of the local color is a collage of 2,800 selfies that combine to create a dynamic image of the city’s skyline. The selfies were submitted by residents as part of a contest to capture images of locals in their favorite spots.

Floor to ceiling windows in the guest rooms and throughout the public space frame views of the city with the downtown mall to the east; Rock Hall, Browns Stadium and the lake to the north; and the Cuyahoga River to the west.  Scenes of the city are repeated in the contemporary guestrooms with murals of iconic Cleveland sites.

The hotel’s 3 restaurants and spectacular rooftop bar, located 32-stories above the city are destined to become popular selfie spots for locals.

The Hilton is connected to the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.  The hotel’s 50,000 square feet of meeting space will see fast action as it headquarters the Republican National Convention’s Host Committee, the organization that plans the national convention.
